TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Required

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Hardware Support Specialist with TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Clearance to join our team. The successful candidate will provide advanced Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote technical support for a range of hardware including computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment. This role involves conducting site surveys, assessing and documenting current site configurations and user requirements, analyzing existing requirements, and preparing specifications for hardware acquisitions. The candidate will also develop engineering plans, site installation Technical Design Packages, and hardware installation schedules, as well as configure equipment and train personnel in its use.

​Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting, repair, and testing for computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Installation & Configuration: Install and configure computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, teleconferencing equipment, and associated cabling.
• Maintenance: Maintain government and/or vendor-manufactured fiber optic modems, multiplexers, fiber optic/Ethernet cables, and telephone systems.
• Documentation: Update technical drawings using AutoCAD software as needed.
• Engineering & Planning: Prepare engineering plans, site installation Technical Design Packages, and hardware installation schedules.
• Training: Train site personnel on the proper use and maintenance of hardware.
• Site Surveys: Conduct site surveys to assess and document current configurations and user requirements.
• Configuration Management: Prepare drawings documenting configuration changes at each site.
• Special Projects: Build specialized interconnecting cables as needed.

Qualifications:

• Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Clearance is REQUIRED.
• Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience and 8570 Certification. Preferred Security + certification. An AA or BS in a technical field may be substituted for years of experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Expertise in installing and configuring Windows OS, software applications, antivirus programs, and patches.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory security and policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to update technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to drive a company vehicle and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6am and 6pm, as determined by management.
• Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
  • Capability to manage time and priorities effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in working with end-users remotely.
